Analyses under agreement for outpatients must be prescribed by specialist doctors working in public facilities. With regard to in-patients, requests for analyses must be approved by the Health Directorate of the sending facility. Each prescription must be accompanied by the specific analysis request forms and the informed consent, duly completed.

R&I Genetics has made available to its prescribing clinicians a dedicated portal to make the analysis request and consult the reports issued by the laboratory.

Registration on the portal is done by contacting the R&I Genetics secretariat, which provides instructions and credentials for access.

Where necessary or required, we offer doctors pre-test counselling to select the most suitable panel to study each individual case, as well as post-test counselling to interpret the results in the context of the patients and their families, always aiming for maximum yield and cost-efficiency.
