The R&I Genetics laboratories occupy an area of approximately 650 square metres on the fifth and eighth floors of the modern building known as the 'Research Tower', Padua Paediatric Research Institute, in Corso Stati Uniti 4.

The facility is equipped with instrumentation and technology platforms that keep pace with scientific and technological advances in order to guarantee the highest quality of service at all times. 

In particular over the years, governance has made large investments in technology, and today R&I Genetics has two Illumina NGS sequencers, Sanger sequencer, Array CGH, real-time PCR, numerous PCR platforms, automated DNA extractors, liquid handlers, and DNA quality control equipment.
