R&I Genetics is firmly focused on providing high-quality genetic tests to requesting physicians.

Each of our reports includes a specific section on the quality of the sequenced and interpreted data, allowing the clinician to directly assess the performance of the test.

R&I Genetics participates in international external quality testing programmes (VEQ). It also has an Internal Quality Control System that manages facilities, equipment, materials and software, and methodologies used in laboratory analytical, interpretive and bioinformatics. Quality control DNA is added to each diagnostic sequencing test and sequence coverage is monitored and evaluated for each sample. Test results are accepted if more than 99% of the target regions are covered with a sequencing depth of at least 20x and the sequencing control sample shows the required sensitivity to detect SNV (>0.995) and INDEL (>0.950).
